It was back to Cobham and back to work for Graham Potter’s Blues on Monday morning, as Chelsea stepped up the preparations ahead of our Champions League tie with AC Milan.
The Blues recorded a first win under our new head coach on Saturday, coming from behind to defeat Crystal Palace 2-1 at Selhurst Park with Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and Conor Gallagher netting their first Chelsea goals.
Next up is a tasty European tie with Italian side AC Milan, with former Chelsea players Olivier Giroud and Fikayo Tomori expected to feature against us at Stamford Bridge.
Academy graduates Mason Mount, Ruben Loftus-Cheek and Trevoh Chalobah were all involved, while the likes of Kai Havertz and Marc Cucurella, who missed the weekend win at Palace, were also out on the grass.
There was a good vibe amongst the squad, as you can see from our photos, with the players getting to work in the autumnal conditions at Cobham.
