A number of vocal Chelsea fans were present inside the impressive venue for tomorrow’s clash with Club America in our opening pre-season fixture of the USA tour, with Christian Pulisic giving a fantastic ovation in his home country.

The players wowed the fans with some impressive touches and close control in the rondos, before ending with some neat finishes in a shooting drill.

It was the first time that fans got to see a glimpse of Raheem Sterling in a Chelsea shirt live, with the recent addition looking sharp on the ball and taking in the applause of the many Blues fans in attendance.

Mateo Kovacic did some individual work in the air-conditioned stadium, with the midfielder taking in a number of running exercises before stretching off.

Earlier on, Thomas Tuchel and Trevoh Chalobah both spoke to the gathered media in the press conference room, while basketball legend and Chelsea fan, Kevin Garnett was also in attendance.
