The Blues are soon to begin the journey to Portugal for our winter training camp which will see head coach Sonia Bompastor and her players get to work ahead of the second half of the season.

After a well-deserved break which saw a pause to domestic and European competition, we will prepare for our return to action in the sunnier climes of Portugal.

The Blues will be looking to continue their fine form during the second half of the season, with Bompastor’s side going into the winter break sitting six points clear at the top of the Barclays Women’s Super League table and with a perfect winning record in the UEFA Champions League where we have reached the quarter-finals.

Our first match of 2025 sees us host Charlton Athletic in the fourth round of the Adobe Women’s FA Cup at Kingsmeadow on 12 January, before we return to WSL duty with a visit to West Ham United on 19 January.

Under the lights at Kingsmeadow, the Blues will get their League Cup campaign underway in the quarter-finals against Durham on the evening of 22 January. We then return to SW6 for the first time in the new year for a London derby clash against Arsenal in the WSL at Stamford Bridge on 26 January.

Ahead of our return to match action, you can follow the squad’s activities in Portugal across the official Chelsea website and app, and social media channels.
