The form
The Blues host FC Twente with a perfect record in the Champions League this season. We currently sit top of Group B with 12 points, having won each of our four matches thus far. Our progression to the knockouts was confirmed with two games to spare when we beat Celtic in SW6 last month.
In the Women's Super League, we are also on an impressive winning run. Bompastor's side have picked up nine wins from nine and sit five points clear at the summit. Across all competitions, we have won 13 consecutive matches this season.
FC Twente - who are playing in the group stages for the first time since the format was introduced - sit third in Group B having won one match out of four; they defeated Celtic 2-0 to kick off their European campaign back in October.
Our opponent have played eight matches in the Vrouwen Eredivisie, picking up 17 points from five wins and two draws. They sit fourth in the Dutch top-flight.
Recent head-to-head
Our only meeting with FC Twente was the reverse fixture at the Grolsh Veste back in October when the Blues prevailed with a 3-1 win.
Aggie Beever-Jones opened the scoring from long range after only seven minutes, before Maika Hamano doubled our advantage with a moment of magic when she lobbed the goalkeeper from 35 yards out with 18 minutes on the clock.
Our third goal arrived just after the hour mark when Guro Reiten netted her 50th Chelsea goal from the penalty spot, while the hosts claimed a consolation through Nikee van Dijk.
