The form

The Blues claimed their place in the last four of the League Cup with a 5-0 win over Championship side Durham in the quarter-finals at Kingsmeadow.

Aggie Beever-Jones set us on our way after 21 minutes, before Oriane Jean-Francois doubled our advantage with a stunning strike just after the hour mark. Three goals in four minutes from Erin Cuthbert, Guro Reiten and Maika Hamano sealed a comfortable victory on home turf.

Bompastor's side are currently unbeaten across four competitions this season, a run that stands at 21 matches. Our most recent victory was on Sunday - a 1-0 WSL win over Aston Villa.

Our opponents defeated Tottenham Hotspur 2-1 away in the last eight to reach the semi-finals. The Hammers had to come from behind to do so after Martha Thomas put Spurs 1-0 up after 10 minutes, with Seraina Pubel and Kirsty Smith netting for Rehanne Skinner's side.

West Ham have won three, drawn two and lost eight of their WSL matches this term. They sit ninth in the league table with 11 points.

Recent head-to-head

The two sides met only recently in the WSL, with the Blues claiming an emphatic 5-0 win against the Hammers at the Chigwell Construction Stadium.

Catarina Macario, Cuthbert, Beever-Jones and Sandy Baltimore were on the scoresheet in Dagenham with a late own-goal from West Ham defender Amber Tysiak rounding off proceedings.
