Chelsea vs Dinamo Zagreb preview
Chelsea's 2-1 victory over Red Bull Salzburg in our last European match means most of our Champions League work has already been done, as we are guaranteed to finish top of the Group E table and qualify for the last 16 as a seeded team. That may give Graham Potter the opportunity to try some new options or rest those players with a heavy workload during the busy recent schedule.
The visitors will be keen to produce another upset, though, following their 1-0 win in the corresponding fixture in Croatia, as only a victory will give them a chance of finishing third and continuing to play European football this season in the Europa League.
Chelsea will be without long-term absentees N'Golo Kante, Reece James and Wesley Fofana. There is a chance Kalidou Koulibaly could return, with Graham Potter saying before the weekend's game against Brighton: ‘Koulibaly has an outside chance for Wednesday'.
Dinamo Zagreb will definitely be without defender Bosko Sutalo, who is out until at least January with a broken leg.
