Emma Hayes has made three changes to her Chelsea Women's side for this afternoon’s trip to Man City in the WSL.
The Blues got their campaign off to a winning start last weekend. Goals from Mia Fishel and Lauren James helped us secure a 2-1 victory over Tottenham Hotspur at Stamford Bridge.
Hayes will hope her side can build on that positive start in Manchester – and also put down a marker against another club with hopes of securing the WSL title this season.
Zecira Musovic continues in goal for the Blues and will be protected by a back four of Ashley Lawrence, who is handed her full debut, Millie Bright, Jess Carter and Niamh Charles.
Sophie Ingle keeps her place in midfield and Jessie Fleming comes into the starting XI to make her 100th appearance for Chelsea Women.
There is also a first start of the campaign for Erin Cuthbert, who reaches the 200-game landmark for Chelsea Women.
James keeps her place on the right of the attack and will be looking to add to the goal she scored last weekend. Guro Reiten starts on the left and Fishel will lead the attack once more. Sam Kerr is among the substitutes.
Chelsea Women: Musovic; Lawrence, Bright, Carter, Charles; Ingle, Fleming; James, Cuthbert, Reiten; Fishel
Chelsea Women substitutes: Berger, Mjelde, Perisset, Cankovic, Leupolz, Nuksen, Rytting Kaneryd, Kirby, Kerr
