FIFA’s The Best Awards ceremony takes place in Paris this evening (Monday) with Chelsea Women goalkeeper Ann-Katrin Berger in the running for the Best FIFA Women’s Goalkeeper award.
The German has made the final three in this category for the second year running, and is joined by Manchester United and England’s Mary Earps, and by Lyon’s Chilean international Christiane Endler.
Berger helped the Blues to a consecutive league and cup double in 2022, and was part of the Germany squad that reached the Euros final last summer.
This form has continued into the current campaign, where Berger has contributed to our impressive 21-match unbeaten run in all competitions since September.
The winner of this award will be announced at the official ceremony in the French capital this evening, with a scheduled start time of 8.00pm (UK time) and you can follow the award presentations live via the FIFA website.
