Covid-19 requirements

It is important that all supporters visiting Kingsmeadow are aware of the following information, or risk not being admitted.

Supporters attending our home matches at Kingsmeadow this season are required to provide evidence that they are at low risk of transmitting Covid-19. This is to increase the safety and comfort of our supporters, players and staff as we host large crowds again.

This can be done through proof of full Covid-19 vaccination (with both doses received at least 14 days prior to the match) or proof of a negative Lateral Flow Test (from age 11 and over) carried out within 48 hours of the fixture kicking off. More information can be found here

The form

We take on the Italian side three days after winning the Women’s FA Cup for the third time in our history.

Sunday’s emphatic 3-0 victory over Arsenal at Wembley was our 14th match in all competitions this season and we remain unbeaten since losing to the Gunners in our opening Women’s Super League fixture.

We have played four Champions League games so far, winning three and drawing the other against VFL Wolfsburg.

Juventus are top of Women’s Serie A having won all 10 games so far. Their latest victory came away from home on Saturday when they beat second-placed Sassuolo 2-0.

The Italian side are second in Group A of the Champions League having won two and drawn one, with their only defeat in four games coming against us.

Chelsea Women vs Juventus head-to-head record

Our only previous competitive meeting with Juventus came in the reverse fixture in this season’s competition when goals from Erin Cuthbert and Pernille Harder earned us a thrilling 2-1 victory in the Allianz Stadium.

Cuthbert’s fine individual goal put us ahead and, although Juve swiftly levelled through Barbara Bonansea’s volley, Harder’s strike secured an impressive victory.

Prior to that, our only previous meeting with Juventus came in August 2018 when we ran out 3-0 winners in a friendly at Kingsmeadow.

Next up for the Blues

We return to domestic duty on Saturday with a Women’s Super League fixture against Reading. The match at the Select Car Leasing Stadium gets under way at 11.30am.
