Covid-19 advice
With the Government’s easing of Covid-19 ‘Autumn and Winter Plan B’ restrictions on 27 January, Chelsea Football Club confirmed that Covid passes are no longer required for fans attending our games at Stamford Bridge and Kingsmeadow.
Neither proof of Covid-19 vaccination nor a negative Lateral Flow Test need to be shown.
Although supporters attending our home matches will no longer be required to provide evidence they are at low risk of transmitting Covid-19, it is vital they continue to do all they can to minimise the risk of passing on the virus.
Supporters must not attend matches if they have any Covid-type symptoms or there is a risk of passing on Covid-19.
There are some simple ways fans can help keep each other safe on a matchday:
•Wear face coverings in indoor and crowded areas, including the concourses, except when eating or drinking.•Continue to regularly use hand-washing facilities and hand sanitisers which are located throughout.•If possible, take a Covid-19 test on a matchday to check there is no risk of passing on the virus.•The best way to protect yourself and others from Covid-19 is to get vaccinated.

The form
The Blues are unbeaten so far in 2022, scoring nine goals in our last five outings. Most recently we were held to goalless draw against Arsenal at Kingsmeadow in the Barclays FA Women’s Super League.
Leicester, meanwhile, go into the fixture having struck fine form just before the international break. The Foxes have won their last three competitive games back-to-back, running out as winners against Tottenham Hotspur, Birmingham City and West Ham United, scoring eight goals in total.
Chelsea Women v Leicester City Women head-to-head record
This is just the second-ever meeting between Chelsea and Leicester in any women’s competition. Our first meeting came earlier in the season when Hayes’ side ran out 2-0 winners in the FA WSL at Kingsmeadow thanks to second-half goals from Pernille Harder and Fran Kirby.
Next up for the Blues
Attention quickly turns to the Continental Tyres League Cup final as the Blues take on Manchester City at Plough Lane next Saturday.
