The game will also be broadcast live on Sky Sports Main Event, Sky Sports Premier League and Sky Sports Football, with coverage starting from 6.30pm.
The form
The Blues go into Sunday’s game in fine form following a scintillating 9-0 win against Leicester City last weekend.
Doubles from Guro Reiten, Sam Kerr and Bethany England and strikes from Aniek Nouwen, Lauren James and Jessie Fleming wrapped up the win which took the Blues to the summit of the WSL table for the first time this season.
Chelsea have won our last four league games back-to-back and are unbeaten in the league in 2022.
Reading, meanwhile, were unable to taste victory in March. The Royals’ last victory came in February with a 2-1 away win at Everton. Their last outing in the league saw them draw 1-1 with Aston Villa. Justine Vanhaevermaet scored a penalty to secure a point on the road for Kelly Chambers’ side.
Chelsea Women vs Reading recent head-to-head record
Sunday’s game will be our second meeting with the Reading this season. The Royals ran out winners in the reverse fixture at the Select Car Leasing Stadium in December. A fourth-minute strike from Deanne Rose saw Kelly Chambers’ side gain all three points in a shock defeat for the Blues before the Christmas break.
Next up for the Blues
It is the international break now and many of our Blues will be representing their countries over the next couple of weeks. We are back in action on Sunday 17 April when we take on Arsenal in the semi-final of the Vitality Women’s FA Cup.
We return to Kingsmeadow on Thursday 28 April when we host Tottenham Hotspur in the WSL in a rearranged fixture. Tickets for our clash against Spurs can be purchased here.
