A home fixture awaits Chelsea and new head coach Sonia Bompastor at the start of the 2024/25 Women's Super League season – and we will also contend three heavyweight clashes at Stamford Bridge during the league campaign.

The Blues head into the season as the reigning WSL champions. We secured our fifth consecutive title in May after defeating Manchester United on the final day of a hard-fought campaign.

The defence of our crown under Bompastor gets underway in September and we have everything you need to know about who, where and when Chelsea will be playing…

Who is Chelsea’s first WSL game of 2024/25 against?

The Blues begin the season against Aston Villa at Kingsmeadow. The game will take place on Friday, 20 September and will kick-off at 7pm. It will also be broadcast live on BBC 2.

Who will the Blues finish the 2024/25 season against?

The final fixture of the campaign is a mouthwatering home clash against Liverpool on 10/11 May. That fixture, as was the case last term, will be at Stamford Bridge.

Which three games will Chelsea Women play at Stamford Bridge?

In addition to the exciting finale against Liverpool, we will take on Manchester City and Arsenal in SW6.

The two league games against our nearest rivals City last term were tight contests and the next instalment will take place at Stamford Bridge on 15/16/17 November.

The big London derby against Arsenal at the Bridge will be on the weekend of 24/25/26 January. Three-match packages, with healthy savings compared to buying on a match-by-match basis, are available to purchase now.

Who else do Chelsea play in the opening weeks of the season?

Our second fixture takes us to WSL newcomers Crystal Palace. That game will be on Friday 27 September with kick-off at 7.30pm. Sky Sports will provide live coverage.

We then host Manchester United at Kingsmeadow on 4/5/6 October.

When do Chelsea play Arsenal and Tottenham?

We travel to north London on 11/12/13 October to play Arsenal, with our first game against Tottenham this season the following weekend.

It’s then Arsenal at the Bridge in late January before we visit Tottenham on the penultimate weekend of the season on 2/3/4 May.

When is the Women’s Super League mid-season break taking place?

Domestic football will pause for the Christmas and New Year period. Our final league game before the festivities taking us to Leicester City on 13/14/15 December.

We return – as things currently stand – from the winter break with our first league fixture a trip to West Ham United on 17/18/19 January.
