Sonia Bompastor has named her first Chelsea starting XI of the Women's Super League season, with two players included to make their competitive debuts against Aston Villa.

At a sold-out Kingsmeadow, summer signings Lucy Bronze and Sandy Baltimore have been pitched in from the start, making their maiden competitive appearances for Chelsea.

Goalkeeper Hannah Hampton will start between the sticks with a defensive backline of Bronze, Kadeisha Buchanan, captain Millie Bright, and Ashley Lawrence in front of her.

Erin Cuthbert and Sjoeke Nusken will make up our midfield, with Baltimore, Johanna Rytting Kaneryd, Guro Reiten and Mayra Ramirez our attacking outlets from the start this evening.

Two players could make their official debuts from the bench - with Maelys Mpome and Wieke Kaptein named amongst the substitutes. They are joined by goalkeeper Musovic, Eve Perisset, Nathalie Bjorn, Maika Hamano, Lauren James and Aggie Beever-Jones.
