Cole Palmer claimed two honours at this evening's 2025 London Football Awards and the achievements of Sonia Bompastor, Guro Reiten and Aggie Beever-Jones were also recognised at the event.

Several Chelsea players were in attendance at the ceremony, held at Wembley Stadium, and the Blues stole the show as five honours were collected between them.

Having registered 20 goals and six assists in the top flight this season – and starring throughout his first campaign at Stamford Bridge – Palmer was revealed as the Premier League Player of the Year.

Our No.20 also picked up the Goal of the Season award for his stunning free-kick in our 4-2 home Premier League win over Brighton & Hove Albion earlier this season. That strike was the third of four goals he netted against the Seagulls that day – and all came in the opening 45 minutes.

Sonia Bompastor's exceptional start to life as Chelsea head coach was recognised as she was named Manager of the Year. After seven months at the helm, the Blues are yet to taste defeat under Bompastor and have won 23 out of 24 matches in all competitions.

Reiten, meanwhile, was named the Women’s Super League Player of the Year. The Norwegian international played an important role in our title triumph last season and has continued her fine form this term, with seven goals netted in 13 appearances.

And Beever-Jones was on hand at Wembley to receive her second consecutive Women’s Young Player of the Year award.

The 21-year-old established herself as an important figure in the Blues squad throughout the 2023/24 season and has since earned her first caps for England.

Congratulations, all!
