Cole Palmer has been named on the eight-man shortlist for the August Premier League Player of the Month award.
Following a brilliant debut campaign with Chelsea, Palmer has picked up where he left off with an impressive opening to the 2024/25 season.
The 22-year-old has started each of our three Premier League matches under new head coach Enzo Maresca and registered one goal and four assists in the competition.
Palmer helped earn us a point with a pinpoint assist for Nicolas Jackson to tap in the opening goal of Sunday’s 1-1 draw with Crystal Palace, but it was his contribution in our 6-2 win over Wolverhampton Wanderers that particularly caught the eye.
The England international opened his account for the campaign with an exquisite lob over Jose Sa before turning provider in the second period, with Noni Madueke the beneficiary as Palmer created each of the three goals of his hat-trick.
You can cast your vote for Cole on the Premier League website here until midday on Monday 9 September.
The winner will then be announced at 11am on Friday 13 September.
