Cole Palmer has once again been nominated for the Premier League Player of the Month award following a December in which he scored five goals for Chelsea.
Palmer was at his productive best in the final month of 2024. He began December with an assist for Enzo Fernandez and then a stunning effort from outside the box in our 3-0 success over Aston Villa. A few days later, in the big away win at Southampton, he backed up those contributions with another goal.

Away to Tottenham, Palmer levelled from the spot as we fought back from 2-0 down, and then scored a perfect Panenka penalty for what proved to be the decisive goal in a memorable victory in north London.
It was in another capital clash that Palmer provided his next major contribution, gliding between a host of Fulham defenders before coolly picking out the bottom corner from the edge of the box.
Although Palmer only registered one assist in the month, the 20 chances he created was the most of any player in the league.
The 22-year-old is aiming to win the award for the second time this season, and the third time in five attempts as he maintains his outstanding form for the Blues.
