Cole Palmer has been voted the PFA Premier League Fans’ Player of the Month for September, adding to the many recent accolades the attacker has won.

Palmer was one of six players nominated for the monthly award having hit top form in September, with supporters around the world choosing our man as the league’s best.

Since Chelsea’s last fixture, Palmer has now picked up three prizes, with this one joining the Premier League Player of the Month and England Player of the Year trophies on his mantelpiece.

The 22-year-old scored a league-high five goals in September, and began the month by setting up Nicolas Jackson’s effort against Crystal Palace. Palmer then rounded off our dominant win at West Ham with a fierce near-post finish.

The best was still to come. His first-half four-goal haul at home to Brighton grabbed footballing headlines everywhere, with the highlight an exquisite long-range free-kick. He became the first player in Premier League history to score four goals in the first half of a match.

Palmer beat off competition from Luis Diaz, Gabriel, Erling Haaland, David Raya and Ollie Watkins to win his latest award.

Congratulations once again, Cole!
