Enzo Maresca has made nine changes to his Chelsea starting XI for this afternoon’s Premier League clash against Crystal Palace at Stamford Bridge.
Our head coach has reverted to a side very similar to the one which beat Wolverhampton Wanderers 6-2 in the Premier League last weekend, with Pedro Neto the only alteration, replacing Mykhailo Mudryk from the XI which featured at Molinuex.
Robert Sanchez starts between the posts after Filip Jorgensen stepped into the side for Thursday evening’s UEFA Conference League play-off second leg against Servette.
The back four has also changed with Malo Gusto, Wesley Fofana, Levi Colwill and Marc Cucurella all returning to the starting XI.
Enzo Fernandez keeps his place in the Chelsea midfield and captains the Blues once more. Moises Caicedo is set to be deployed alongside the Argentine.
Noni Madueke continues on the right and will hope to make another significant impact before joining the England squad for the first time.
Cole Palmer and Pedro Neto step into the attack while Nicolas Jackson will lead the frontline.
It is also the first involvement of the season for Cesare Casadei, who was named among the substitutes.
