Deadline day signings Keira Walsh and Femke Liefting have been named on the bench as Sonia Bompastor makes five changes to the XI set to start in this afternoon's Women's Super League match against Aston Villa.
The Blues head coach has made five alterations from the team which started in last weekend's London-derby win over Arsenal with Ashley Lawrence, Wieke Kaptein, Aggie Beever-Jones, Guro Reiten and Lauren James all coming into the side at Villa Park.
Hannah Hampton retains her place in goal and will be protected by a defence of Lawrence, Nathalie Bjorn, Millie Bright and Niamh Charles. Kaptein comes into midfield where she will feature alongside Erin Cuthbert.
Beever-Jones and Reiten are expected to feature down either flank, with Catarina Macario taking up a central role in attack. Making her first WSL start since October, James is anticipated to lead the line this afternoon.
Following their respective moves to Chelsea, midfielder Walsh and goalkeeper Liefting have been named among the substitutes.
Joining them on the bench are Maelys Mpome, Lola Brown, Oriane Jean-Francois, Sjoeke Nusken, Maika Hamano, Johanna Rytting Kaneryd and Mayra Ramirez.
