Sonia Bompastor has named her first Chelsea XI of 2025, with forward Lauren James returning to the starting line-up for the first time since October for today's fourth-round FA Cup encounter with Charlton Atheltic.
The Blues are back in action following the winter break, with a clash against Championship opposition. Bompastor's side will be looking to extend our 16-game unbeaten run and with it progression to the next round of the FA Cup.
Hannah Hampton starts in goal and is expected to be protected by a defence consisting of Lucy Bronze, captain Millie Bright, Nathalie Bjorn, and Sandy Baltimore.
In midfield, Erin Cuthbert and Oriane Jean-Francois start, with Guro Reiten, James - who last featured in a 2-1 win over Arsenal at the Emirates Stadium on 12 October - Catarina Macario, and Mayra Ramirez set to make up our attacking options in Kingston.
Chelsea XI: Hampton; Bronze, Bright, Bjorn, Baltimore, Cuthbert, Jean-Francois, Reiten, James, Macario, Ramirez
Chelsea substitutes: Musovic, Perisset, Lawrence, Charles, Bernabe, Kaptein, Nusken, Hamano, Beever-Jones
