Sonia Bompastor has made three changes to her final Chelsea starting XI of 2024, with the Blues set to take on Real Madrid in our final UEFA Champions League group match this evening.

Bompastor's side will be looking to secure their place at the top of Group B when we face Real Madrid at the Alfredo Di Stefano Stadium. We currently sit three points clear of our opponents at the summit, with a draw enough to claim first place.

Following our final Women's Super League match of the year, which ended in a 1-1 draw with Leicester City last weekend, Niamh Charles Erin Cuthbert and Aggie Beever-Jones have been introduced to the side for tonight's clash in place of Ashley Lawrence and Maika Hamano who take their place on the bench, while Johanna Rytting Kaneryd misses out due to injury.

Making her first Champions League appearance of the season, Hannah Hampton starts in goal. She will be protected by a defence of Lucy Bronze, Nathalie Bjorn, Millie Bright and Charles.

Cuthbert returns in midfield following suspension and will line up alongside Wieke Kaptein and Sjoeke Nusken. Our attacking outlets against Las Blancas are Guro Reiten, Mayra Ramirez and Beever-Jones.

Chelsea XI: Hampton; Bronze, Bjorn, Bright, Charles, Nusken, Cuthbert, Kaptein, Reiten, Beever-Jones, Ramirez

Chelsea substitutes: Musovic, Cox, Lawrence, Perisset, Bartel, Brown, Jean-Francois, Hamano, Baltimore, Macario
