Maelys Mpome is set to make her first start in the Women's Super League as Sonia Bompastor makes three changes to her Chelsea line-up for this afternoon's encounter with Everton.

For the second weekend in a row, the Blues host the Toffees at Kingsmeadow. Last Sunday, Bompastor's side defeated the Merseyside club 4-1 in the fifth round of the FA Cup, while today, we meet in the league.

Hannah Hampton retains her place in goal and is expected to be protected by a defence of Ashley Lawrence, Millie Bright, Mpome - who is making her first WSL start - and Sandy Baltimore.

Returning to the Blues midfield is Sjoeke Nusken, who will feature alongside Keira Walsh. Johanna Rytting Kaneryd, Catarina Macario, Lauren James, and Mayra Ramirez will complete our attacking options in Kingston.

Following an injury to goalkeeper Femke Liefting in the warm-up, Katie Cox replaced her on the bench. Also amongst the substitutes are Lucy Bronze, Niamh Charles, Nathalie Bjorn, Oriane Jean-Francois, Wieke Kaptein, Maika Hamno, Guro Reiten and Aggie Beever-Jones.

Chelsea XI: Hampton; Lawrence, Bright, Mpome, Baltimore, Nusken, Walsh, Rytting Kaneryd, Macario, James, Ramirez

Chelsea substitutes: Cox, Bronze, Charles, Bjorn, Jean-Francois, Kaptein, Hamano, Reiten, Beever-Jones
