Chelsea defender Marc Cucurella has been selected in Spain’s provisional Euro 2024 squad.

The Blues left-back has been named as part of a 29-man squad by Luis de la Fuente for the summer tournament, with three players set to be cut before the deadline of June 7 to create a final list of 26.

Cucurella ended the season in strong form for Chelsea, becoming a regular at left-back in an inverted role that saw him drift into midfield regularly to help out with attacks.

The 2022 signing from Brighton has two senior caps to his name and has been joined in the squad by former Chelsea striker, Alvaro Morata.
