Marc Cucurella’s fine finish against Leicester is among the nominations for the Premier League’s Goal of the Month award for March.
The Spaniard stepped forward from left-back and drilled a low drive into the far bottom corner from 25 yards out, leaving Foxes stopper Mads Hermansen with no chance.
The goal secured a big Premier League victory for us against Enzo Maresca’s former side, ensuring the Chelsea fans left a sun-soaked Stamford Bridge celebrating all three points.
Cucurella’s strike has been included in an eight-man shortlist for the monthly award, with the winner to be announced on Friday 4 April at 1pm. You can vote for Marc’s goal here.
Up against the Chelsea left-back is Bournemouth’s Marcus Tavernier, Declan Rice of Arsenal, Nottingham Forest wideman Anthony Elanga, Manchester United captain Bruno Fernandes, Omar Marmoush of Manchester City, Ipswich Town loanee Jens Cajuste and Brighton’s Pervis Estupinan.
Voting is open now and you can pick Cucurella’s goal to win by clicking here.
