Two of Chelsea's Academy players were involved as a late France goal knocked the Young Lions out of the competition on Saturday evening.

The French were awarded a penalty a minute from the full-time whistle and it left Ryan Garry's side with not enough time to level the scores.

Josh Acheampong and Michael Golding (pictured) were the two Chelsea players to feature in the last-gasp loss against the young Les Bleus side.

Acheamapong was substituted late in the game as England, who hit the woodwork in the first half, pushed for an equaliser but it was to no avail.

Ted Curd, Somto Boniface and Kiano Dyer were unused subs.

England had topped their group with two wins and a draw before the knockout stage.
