Eve Perisset has departed Chelsea to pursue further playing opportunities.

The 30-year-old defender leaves the Blues after two-and-a-half years during which she won two Women’s Super League titles and a FA Cup.

After arriving in London in the summer of 2022, Perisset went on to make an immediate impact during her first season, making 32 appearances across all competitions and lifting a domestic league and cup double.

Last season, she featured on 25 occasions and surpassed 50 appearances for Chelsea as we ended the campaign with another WSL title.

Perisset made seven appearances in all competitions this term and scored her first goal for the Blues in a UEFA Champions League win against Celtic at Stamford Bridge in November. She struck her second the following month against FC Twente.

Before joining Chelsea, Perisset achieved much success in her native country, winning several domestic trophies during spells with Lyon and Paris Saint-Germain and lifting the Champions League in 2016.

On the international stage, Perisset has represented France more than 60 times since making her senior debut in 2016.

She was one of several Blues who featured for their country at the 2023 World Cup in Australia and New Zealand and last summer was named in the France squad for the Olympics in Paris.

Everyone at Chelsea would like to thank Eve for her contributions during her time at the club and we wish her well for the next chapter of her career.
