Whether it’s watching from Stamford Bridge every week or waking up in the middle of the night to follow from home, every Member has a Chelsea story - a tale of why they follow the Blues and where their fandom has taken them.

This season, we’re sharing the stories of Chelsea Members from around the world, and today it’s the turn of Louise, from the United Kingdom

The floor is yours, Louise!

What was your first match at the Bridge and what do you remember about it?

Louise: It was in 2022 and it was Chelsea Women v Tottenham - I'd always wanted to attend a match at Stamford Bridge and supporting the women's team gave me the confidence to do it.

I still remember the music that was played before the match, the people in the crowd, everything. It was the first time I'd been back to a football stadium since 1995!

Who is your all-time favourite player?

Louise: I'd say Mason Mount

What about your favourite player in the current squad?

Louise: Oh that's easy, Cole Palmer. What a player!

Name your favourite memory from the Bridge?

Louise: The penalty shootout in the women's Champions League game against Lyon in 2023. When Ann-Katrin Berger saved the penalty it was just an amazing feeling, having spent most of the match thinking we were going out of the competition!

Do you have any pre-match superstitions or rituals?

Louise: I always wear my lucky Chelsea socks!

How about chants, do you have a favourite?

Louise: Currently the chant for Marc Cucurella! But you just can’t beat when everyone is chanting Chelsea, Chelsea, Chelsea, Chelsea … (you know the one!)

What about your message to Enzo and the boys for our first game against City?

Louise:Win! Let’s see everyone on the pitch, put in some real passion for the badge and what it means to be Chelsea, that’s all we want to see as your supporters!
