Chelsea Foundation provided Ethan Hupping and his family with a once-in-a-lifetime experience as part of a matchday wish.

Chelsea supporter Ethan, who was born with a rare cancer called infantile fibro sarcoma, was invited to Stamford Bridge to watch Chelsea take on Nottingham Forest along with his mum Laura, dad Wayne and sister Isla.

The family met the players as they arrived for the match and were given access to the press room before heading out pitchside to watch the team warm up.

Ethan spent time with Noni Madueke and Marcus Bettinelli before watching the match with his family.

Laura said: ‘Thank you to Chelsea Foundation for an amazing day, it meant the world to us. Both Ethan and his sister Isla have missed out on so many things over the last few years. Firstly he was so unwell with his chemotherapy and this meant his sister also missed out on a lot if the normal childhood activities and we rarely did anything as a family.

‘Spending the day at Chelsea Football Club as a whole family was really special and something in a million years we never thought we would experience. It was special to have Ethan’s dream come true after everything he has been through and continues to go through. For us to make amazing happy memories that will last a lifetime together means something positive has come out of his cancer diagnoses.

‘Ethan said he was so excited when he found out that he couldn't sleep and wanted to practise his skills ready so he can be the Chelsea goalkeeper when he's older. He loved high-fiving the players and his favourite part of the whole day was being able to kick the ball on the pitch during warm-up. Since getting home he has told everyone about his day.’
