We progressed in this prestigious academy competition with a dominant 7-1 victory over Merstham earlier this month, securing our place in the upcoming fifth round.

Striker Shumaira Mheuka led the charge with an impressive hat-trick, Leo Cardoso and schoolboys Ryan Kavuma-McQueen, Reggie Walsh and Chizaram Ezenwata added a goal each to seal our progression, having previously beaten Leicester City in the third round.

In the next stage of the competitions, we will travel to face Manchester United, and it has now been confirmed that game will be played at Leigh Sports Village on Wednesday 12 February, with kick-off scheduled for 7pm.

United come into this fixture in excellent form, having won 11 of their 12 matches in the Under-18 Premier League North. They also secured their place in the fifth round of the FA Youth Cup with dominant victories, defeating Coventry City 5-0 and Preston North End 5-2.
