Ted Curd, Josh-Kofi Acheampong, Somto Boniface, Kiano Dyer and Michael Golding have all been selected to compete in the European Under-17 European Championships...

England Under-17s head coach Ryan Garry has revealed a squad of 21 players that will take part in the Euros beginning this week.

Chelsea's Michael Golding has been captain of the young Three Lions side throughout this season and could possibly lead the side out for this tournament. The midfielder proved to be a goalscoring threat for Chelsea during the season just completed as he scored five goals in 12 league appearances in the Under-18 league campaign.

Ted Curd is another who featured consistently for us, playing the most games of all our goalkeepers eligible for Hassan Sulaiman's side. Curd suffered a minor injury towards the end of the season but is now fit enough to be a part of the England squad.

Josh-Kofi Acheampong showcased his versatility in the U18s this season. The young defender has been deployed as centre-back as part of a two and a three. He has also been used as a right-back and he will be looking to use his skills to help his country.

Somto Boniface has been a reliable member of the Under-18s squad this season, making the second most starts of any player for his age group. The left-back will hope to utilise his lung-bursting overlapping runs which could prove to be a useful tool for the England team.

Kiano Dyer the youngest of those selected from Chelsea has shown that despite being a 16-year-old, he is not fazed by the pressure of playing with and against players much older than him. The youngster made 13 starts in the league, scoring a solitary goal.

The young Three Lions play their first game of the tournament tomorrow night against Croatia, with matches against the Netherland and Switzerland.
