There is no let-up from the Blues players as they continue to put in the hard work at Cobham as we edge closer to our next Premier League fixture.

It was another bright but chilly day under the Surrey sun as Enzo Maresca and his squad took to the training pitch, continuing their efforts to bounce straight back from Friday night's loss at Brighton & Hove Albion.

Next up for the Blues is another Premier League away trip, this time to Aston Villa on Saturday, with the players and staff at Cobham now fully focused on that task ahead.

Maresca was putting the team through their paces on Tuesday, having made it clear the whole squad needed to pull together during another important week of work ahead of the trip to Villa Park, as we look to improve our form and finish the season strongly.

‘The last performance was not good so we are upset,' our head coach said after Friday's game. 'It was not the performance we need to offer in this moment of the season.

‘Probably it is the most difficult moment since I arrived, in terms of results, in terms of the moment, but it is the moment that we need to stick together and try to finish in the best way.

‘From now on every week is going to be important.'

Saturday's trip to Villa Park can be followed in our Aston Villa vs Chelsea Match Centre, with live audio commentary and minute-by-minute updates.

The 5.30pm kick-off will also be broadcast by Sky Sports in the UK, with the fixture available via local Premier League TV rights holders in other countries.
