Enzo Maresca and his squad continue to put the work in during the international break in anticipation of the Premier League's return.

We have a lengthy gap between matches, with the current international break followed by another free weekend for the Blues, meaning we are not back in action until Thursday 3 April.

That is for a Premier League derby against Tottenham Hotspur at Stamford Bridge, always a big occasion, and Chelsea are making sure not to drop their level despite the lack of competitive action in the build-up to that game.

Having won four of our last five matches in all competitions going into the international break, the Blues will be eager to make that five out of six when we host our capital rivals in front of the home support in west London.

Several members of Enzo Maresca's squad are still absent after representing their countries during this international break, including Enzo Fernandez, who scored as Argentina secured their qualification for next summer's World Cup last night.

However, those that remain have been working hard to make sure there is no let off in the intensity in training at Cobham, even for the players not involved in competitive action during this period. That means plenty of work in the gym, alongside that out on the training pitch, all under the watchful eye of our head coach.

Among them is striker Nicolas Jackson, who was on the grass today, and is one of those Maresca had previously stated he hoped would be close to a comeback after this international break.
