The Blues will host Legia Warsaw at Stamford Bridge tomorrow evening in the second leg of our Conference League quarter-final, going into the contest with a 3-0 lead from the first game in Poland last week.

The squad was out on the grass at Cobham on Wednesday to conclude our preparations for that game, with the first 15 minutes taking place in front of the watching media, as is the norm for the final session before a match in a UEFA competition.

As we look to finish the job on home turf and book our spot in a potential semi-final against either Djurgarden or Rapid Vienna, Enzo Maresca and his squad are also aiming to get back to winning ways, following Sunday’s 2-2 Premier League draw with Ipswich Town.

After training at Cobham was complete, Maresca and full-back Malo Gusto made the trip to Stamford Bridge to discuss the upcoming game with the media in our pre-match press conference.

‘The message [in training] was about the reaction we have to show, especially tomorrow against Legia to make the semi-final,’ said Gusto.

‘The most important thing is for us to continue to build something, to keep the fans behind us and play game-after-game to win as much as we can.

‘We are Chelsea, so we just have to show our talent and our desire to win. The most important thing is to continue to create these things between us and show it on the pitch.’

Kick-off against Legia Warsaw at Stamford Bridge is at 8pm UK time on Thursday evening, with Chelsea hoping to continue our 100 per cent win record in this season’s Conference League proper.
