The two-year extension proceeds Fleming’s debut Blue contract which was due to expire in the summer of 2023.

Since signing ahead of the 2020/21 season, the versatile midfielder has already secured a raft of club accolades including two Women’s Super League titles, two FA Cup titles and the FA Continental League Cup. The No.17 has 69 club appearances to her name with seven of those this season and eight goals scored for the Blues across the past two years.

The Canadian native has also enjoyed a glistening international career since making her senior debut at the age of 15, becoming the second-youngest player to ever play for Canada. At the age of 24, Fleming has already received an impressive 109 international caps with 95 starts and 19 goals for her home country.

At the heart of the Canadian midfield, Fleming played an integral part of the Olympic gold winning team in Tokyo, scoring several crucial goals and later going on to be honoured for her efforts becoming Canada’s Player of the Year 2021. Her wider accomplishments include taking home Olympic bronze at Rio 2016, competing at the 2015 and 2019 FIFA World Cups and winning four CONCACAF silver medals.
