Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall is in line to make his first outing for Chelsea after being named in the starting XI against Club America, with Enzo Fernandez and new signing Filip Jorgensen among those on the bench.

Summer signing Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall has missed the opening two matches of our USA tour as the centre midfielder was recovering from injury.

But the 25-year-old is set to start at the Mercedes-Benz Stadium against the Mexican champions.

There is another new arrival on the bench in goalkeeper Jorgensen, who is in the matchday squad just over 24 hours after his signing from Villarreal was confirmed.

Enzo is also among the substitutes after linking up with the squad following his Copa America win with Argentina.

Maresca has named Robert Sanchez as his starting goalkeeper and he will be protected by a back four of captain Reece James, Benoit Badiashile, Tosin Adarabioyo and Malo Gusto.

Romeo Lavia looks set to start as the deeper midfielder for the third game running, as Dewsbury-Hall and Christopher Nkunku line up in a more advanced central position.

New signing Marc Guiu continues his record of starting every game since his signing and is flanked by Raheem Sterling and Noni Madueke.

Chelsea: 1 Robert Sanchez; 24 Reece James (C), 5 Benoit Badiashile, 4 Tosin Adarabioyo, 27 Malo Gusto; 45 Romeo Lavia, 22 Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall, 18 Christopher Nkunku; 11 Noni Madueke, 38 Marc Guiu, 7 Raheem Sterling
