Conor Gallagher is the Chelsea player called up by Gareth Southgate for international fixtures next month.
England play two matches, both qualifiers for the 2024 European Championship. The first is away against Malta on Friday 16 June, followed by a home meeting with North Macedonia on Monday 19 June. That is at Old Trafford.
Gallagher has six full international caps to his name, the most recent from two Euro qualifier wins in March. The Three Lions top their group with six points from a possible six.
Noni Madueke, Levi Colwill and Lewis Hall have been named in a preparation camp for England Under-21 players ahead of this summer’s European Championship.
Madueke has six caps and two goals to his name for England’s Under-21 side. Colwill has played five times and finished the recent 4-0 friendly win against France, in which Madueke scored, wearing the captain’s armband.
Hall has represented England up to Under-19 level but has yet to be capped by the Under-21s.
Manager Lee Carsley and his assistant Ashley Cole have selected a group of 23 players for the camp, which will be held at St George’s Park from Wednesday 7 to Saturday 10 June. The final squad for the tournament is scheduled to be announced on Wednesday 14 June.
