Chelsea got back to winning ways in the Premier League with a strong home win over Newcastle United, and we've picked out some of our favourite images from the 2-1 victory.

Before the match, the Chelsea supporters paid tribute to our late vice-chairman Matthew Harding, who passed away 28 years ago this week.

Once the action kicked off, the Blues made a quick start to the game, Cole Palmer slotting in after impressive work by Nicolas Jackson, only to see it ruled out by VAR for a narrow offside. We didn't have to wait too long for the opening goal, though, as Jackson went from provider to scorer as he turned in Pedro Neto's low cross.

Newcastle levelled again when Alexander Isak netted from close range, but the Blues started the second half just as fast as we had the first. Palmer had us back in the lead shortly after the break, firing in low from outside the box when Romeo Lavia had won possession in the centre of the pitch.

It looked like we might stroll through to the whistle from there as the Magpies struggled to keep hold of possession and Neto hit the post, but the visitors came back into it as the game went on. We had to stand strong under some late pressure, Reece James and Moises Caicedo in particular making crucial interventions as we stood firm for the win.

Here are some of our favourite images from that 2-1 win...
