Sonia Bompastor's side have travelled to the sunnier climes of Portugal where they will get back to work ahead of our return to action for the second half of the season.

In Portugal, the Blues will be looking to prepare to continue their fine form when the campaign restarts. We came into the winter break sitting six points clear at the top of the Women's Super League table and with a place in the UEFA Champions League quarter-finals secured after winning each of our six group matches.

Following our mid-season trip, we return to match action on 12 January with a visit of Charlton Athletic in the fourth round of the FA Cup before our first league match of 2025, a short trip to West Ham United on 19 January.
