The pair, who joined from RB Leipzig and Southampton respectively, are yet to feature this season for the Blues after suffering injuries in the summer but head coach Mauricio Pochettino has confirmed that the duo are closing in on a return to action.

Seeing the pair running on the grass today is a welcome boost for our head coach, who also stated that Nkunku and Lavia could even be part of team training next week.

Sunday’s clash with Manchester City comes too soon for the pair however the likes of Reece James, Nicolas Jackson and Malo Gusto were all pictured at Cobham on Friday.

Cole Palmer and Raheem Sterling were also involved and will hope to feature against their former side on Sunday.
