It was a hard-fought match with both sides having their fair share of chances to turn one point into three on Sunday evening. Noni Madeuke almost got the Blues off to a great start but his header found the outside of the post in a scrappy opening period.

After the break, Pedro Neto's low-driven effort rolled agonisingly wide of the bottom corner to deny the Portuguese the chance to break the deadlock. Instead, it would go to his compatriot Bruno Fernandes who converted from the spot for the home side.

The Blues would equalise in stunning style through Moises Caicedo's sweet volley, but we were unable to find the all-important winner in the late stages of the game.
