Chelsea have been paired with Borussia Dortmund in the Champions League last-16 following Monday's draw at UEFA headquarters in Nyon, Switzerland.
It will be the first meeting between the two sides in European competition and our first encounter with German opponents since we faced Bayern Munich in 2019/20.
The Blues reached the knockout stage for the fourth successive season after topping Group E, seeing off AC Milan, Red Bull Salzburg and Dinamo Zagreb along the way. Dortmund finished as runners-up to Manchester City in their group, winning two, drawing three and losing one of their six matches.
As group winners, we will play away first before hosting Dortmund at Stamford Bridge in the spring. The first legs of this season’s Champions League last-16 ties will be played over two weeks, on 14, 15, 21 and 22 February.
The teams will then play their second leg three weeks later, on 7, 8, 14 and 15 March. All matches will kick off at 8pm UK time. Exact dates will be confirmed later today no later than 5pm UK time and will be announced across Chelsea's digital channels
