Harder rescued a point for Chelsea in our 3-3 draw with Wolfsburg and four days later opened the scoring in our 2-0 league victory against Leicester City at Kingsmeadow.

The Blues forward then netted the winner against Juventus on Wednesday to take her tally to six for the season and she is relishing her role in the team.

‘I feel good at the moment,’ said Harder. ‘I feel like I’m in the flow, I’ve had a good pre-season, I’ve worked hard and I feel like I’ve adapted well into the team now.

‘I want to keep building and I want to keep developing both as a player and as a team.’

The Blues were pulled back to level terms six minutes after Erin Cuthbert’s opener which gave Juventus some momentum but Harder was pleased with how the Blues responded.

She added: ‘It defines us. We don’t give up, we keep going and we keep creating chances. We don’t want to go off the pitch without the three points.

‘It was a difficult game, away in Juventus in an unbelievable stadium and they had a lot of fans behind them. We could feel that.

‘We played good in periods when we let the ball go and we played fast. We exploited the spaces they gave us but I felt we could have done that a little more.

‘We changed something in the second half defensively and it helped a lot. We were stronger in defence in the second half and that’s when we got the second goal.’

Harder will now join up with her national team, along with a host of other Blues and return to Chelsea ahead of our FA Cup semi-final at Manchester City on Sunday 31 October.
