It has been confirmed that Chelsea Under-21s will host Brighton & Hove Albion in the first round of the Premier League 2 title play-offs.
Following the conclusion of the initial league stage of the Premier League 2 last night, the line-up for this season's title-deciding play-offs has now been confirmed.
The Blues ended our league campaign with a 2-0 victory over Southampton on Friday, which was good enough to secure a fourth-place finish in the table. That ensured we will be at home in the last 16 against the team which ended the regular season 13th - Brighton & Hove Albion.
Chelsea Under-21s will now host Brighton in a one-off knockout tie at Kingsmeadow this Friday 3 May, with kick-off at 7pm UK time. Ticket news is below.
Should we emerge victorious, we will then travel away to either Arsenal or Manchester United in the quarter-finals the following week. If Chelsea continue to progress, we will be away in the semi-finals on the weekend of 17-20 May, and will host the final on 24-27 May, hopefully with the chance to claim the Premier League title for the first time since 2020.
