Chelsea have a huge UEFA Women's Champions League semi-final second leg at Stamford Bridge this weekend, with Barcelona standing between us and a place in the final. Here's everything you need to know...

The Blues have a 4-1 deficit to overturn from the first leg in Catalonia, but our fantastic quarter-final comeback against Manchester City will give us hope of mounting another against the reigning European champions.

Where and when

We face Barcelona at Stamford Bridge on Sunday 27 April, with kick-off scheduled for 2pm UK time.

How to follow

Tickets for the game are still available to buy here, with Sonia and the players needing your support at the Bridge!

If you can't make it to SW6, as always you can follow minute-by-minute updates in our Chelsea Women vs Barcelona Manchester City Match Centre on the official Chelsea website and Chelsea Official App. You can also follow through Chelsea Women’s social media channels on X, Facebook and Instagram.

DAZN will be showing the match live globally for free on their website and YouTube channel. It will also be shown on TNT Sports 3 in the UK, and you can watch the contest back in full on our website and app from midnight on Monday night.

The form

Sunday's loss at the Estadi Johan Cruyff was just our second in all competitions this season. The first was the 2-0 reverse away to Manchester City that we overcame in the second leg back at the Bridge. A similar effort is required on Sunday!

Following Wednesday's commanding 4-0 victory against Crystal Palace at Kingsmeadow, we now sit six points clear of Arsenal in the WSL table with just three games remaining.

Barcelona meanwhile also sit top of their league, Liga F, four points ahead of rivals Real Madrid. There are four fixtures remaining for them in Spain, while they are also through to their domestic cup final where they will play Atletico Madrid.

Recent head-to-head

We have faced Barcelona in the Champions League semi-finals in the last three consecutive seasons, having also lost to the Catalans in the final back in 2021.

A narrow 1-0 defeat at home in 2023 was followed by a 1-1 draw in Barcelona, before our 1-0 away win last season - which broke their run of five years unbeaten at home - was overturned by a 2-0 result, in which we went down to ten players with the tie level.

The Blues will require a similar comeback on Sunday, but after their performances this season Sonia Bompastor and her players will know anything is possible.

We will take on Barcelona at Stamford Bridge in the second leg of our UEFA Women's Champions League semi-final on Sunday 27 April and you can secure your seat for that match here.
