Academy winger Omari Hutchinson has been nominated alongside some other talented young players for the PL2 Player of the Month award. He has been selected based on his impressive performances in the month of September.

An assist in a 2-0 win over Everton and a brace in a 3-3 draw against Crystal Palace have seen Hutchinson recognised for his instant impact since making his move from north to west London in the summer.

A regular for Mark Robinson’s side, Hutchinson has settled in very quickly and has trained on occasions with the men's first team.

The winner of the award will be chosen by the Premier League Football Development panel after PL2 clubs’ coaches nominated the best performances by opposing players in each league fixture in September. The other nominated players are Evan Ferguson (Brighton & Hove Albion), John-Kymani Gordon (Crystal Palace), Mateo Fernandez (Leeds United), Abu Kamara (Norwich City) and Reyes Cleary (West Bromwich Albion).

Hutchinson has already continued his fine form into October as he was one of our goalscorers in last week Saturday’s 2-2 draw with Leicester.

Our development squad will be in action tomorrow away against West Ham United with kick-off at 4pm.
