Chelsea Under-21s triumphed 4-1 against Aston Villa in our final home league game of the season in front of the Stamford Bridge crowd.

For the second time in as many days, the Chelsea supporters were celebrating a home win at Stamford Bridge. Following the men's derby victory over Tottenham on Thursday evening, our Under-21s had their turn on Friday, putting in an impressive performance to beat Aston Villa 4-1.

The tone was set early when Ishe Samuels-Smith put the Blues ahead in just the second minute, with a perfectly placed finish, and by the 10-minute mark it was already 2-0 to Chelsea, after Shumaira Mheuka had powered in a second.

We continued to impress in the second half, with further goals as Donnell McNeilly headed in a free-kick at close range and then Brodi Hughes beat the keeper to a loose ball, making it another good night in SW6 for the Chelsea supporters, despite a late consolation scored by Aston Villa.
