As Enzo Maresca and his Chelsea players gathered in front of the travelling support after the final whistle at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, it became evident our latest victory over our north London rivals would be savoured for some time.
The scenes were also in stark contrast to emotions felt during the opening 11 minutes of the fixture. Tottenham, aided by a couple of slips from Marc Cucurella, had opened up a two-goal advantage through Dominic Solanke and Dejan Kulusevski. Pressure was on the Blues.
Yet we responded superbly. Jadon Sancho produced a wonderful run and 20-yard finish to pull a goal back and in the second period, Maresca's side took control, forced Tottenham back, and ruthlessly exploited weaknesses and mistakes to win the game.
Moises Caicedo won Chelsea a penalty which Cole Palmer dutifully converted. Enzo Fernandez then lashed us ahead with a fine effort from just inside the box. And Palmer produced a Panenka to score our second penalty of the afternoon, which he had won moments earlier.
A late consolation from Son Heung-min did little to dampen the jubilation felt by those in blue, both on and off the pitch. And we have pulled together 35 images from yesterday's triumph at Tottenham, which will enter the Chelsea annuals as another famous victory over Spurs.
