Noni Madueke then added a third before the interval as he guided a Thiago Silva knock-down into the net from close range.

There were a couple of scares but in the second period, Pochettino's side added two further goals via Nicolas Jackson. His first was a simple tap-in after good work from Madueke while the second was a composed strike after the forward had broken through.

Our performance was impressive once more and ensured we moved into seventh in the Premier League table. The race for a European finish is very much on.
