Chelsea Foundation hosted another special community day at Cobham, giving young fans the opportunity to meet some of their heroes...
The day was filled with unforgettable moments, creating a memorable experience for both the players and the attendees.
The special guests began their day with a Q&A with Chelsea legend Katie Chapman and then headed out to the training pitch to watch their heroes in action.
Once training had finished, the squad joined the guests and their families for photos and signed memorabilia.
Five-year-old Daisy Hone was reunited with Millie Bright after meeting the Chelsea captain at Kingsmeadow last season.
Daisy said: ‘I was so excited to see Millie again. I drew her a picture and she said she would put it in her locker. My favourite part of the day was Millie giving me a signed shirt and loads of hugs. She’s my bestie!
‘We go to watch the matches but have never watched them train, and I got see Millie score a penalty in training, so it’s a very special day.’
The community day was not just about meeting the players. Shakira Gadsby drew inspiration from her conversation with Emma Hayes.
‘It was an amazing day and has really helped me given everything I’ve been through. Meeting Emma Hayes and being able to speak to her about coaching, something that she has inspired me to do, is something I will never forget,’ Shakira shared.
‘I dislocated my knee when celebrating our 8-0 win over Bristol City but it was all worth it. I will be in Manchester for the final game of the season and fingers crossed we can win the title.’
