Four Chelsea stars were in SheBelieves Cup action on Saturday as the April women's international break continued.
Two Blues found themselves on opposing sides in the first semi-final of the day as host nation and four-time world champions USA took on Japan.
Maika Hamano was on the bench for Japan while fellow Chelsea forward Catarina Macario was named as a substitute for USWNT, marking her return to the national squad after her injury lay-off.
It was Hamano's side who took a shock early lead in Atlanta when Kiko Seike struck inside the first minute for the two-time Asian Cup winners
But the hosts turned it around. Jaedyn Shaw equalised midway through the first half before Lindsey Horan's penalty 13 minutes from time completed the comeback.
Despite ending on the losing side, Hamano got a decent run out in Atlanta, coming off the bench as a half-time substitute for Seike.
Macario later joined the action to a superb ovation. She replaced Alex Morgan immediately after Horan's winner, making her first national team appearance in two years following her return from her ACL injury.
In the second semi-final, Blues duo Ashley Lawrence and Kadeisha Buchanan were both in from the start for Canada as they faced Brazil.
It was the South Americans who seized control in the first half, with Brazilian defender Tarciane converting a penalty.
That goal looked like it might be enough to take Brazil through to the final until Canada's Vanessa Gilles headed home a free-kick to level the score with only 13 minutes of normal time to play. It sent the tie to penalties.
Lawrence stepped up first in the shootout, only to miss the target with her spot-kick. But Canada were able to hit back and claim victory with Julia Grosso's penalty sealing a 4-2 shootout win.
The result means Canada will face the USA in the tournament final on Tuesday. Lawrence, Buchanan and Macario will hope to be involved while Japan and Hamano will face Brazil in the third-place play-off on the same day.
Finally over in Orlando, Mayra Ramirez completed the full 90 minutes as Colombia took on Mexico in an international friendly. Ramirez's side claimed a 1-0 win thanks to a Catalina Usme goal just before half-time.
